Who will make your credit union loan payments if you were to become disabled?At Heart of the Lakes Credit Union you could rest a little easier if you elected to take our optional Payment Protection Insurance when you take out a loan with us.
Although paychecks may stop during an extended disability, your obligations continue. If your installment loan is insured with Payment Protection, your loan payments will be covered as long as you are unable to work. (Payments begin after 30 day of disability).
In the event of your death, Payment Protection will pay off your obligation, relieving your family of all responsibility.
